You may have seen Psalm 127:1 printed on our literature, invoices, purchase orders and other documents and wondered why it was there. Psalm 127:1 states, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” Some years ago during a particularly difficult period in our history, our board was praying about the direction of our company and this verse was given to us. Through this psalm the Lord reminds us that our endeavors are useless unless they are aligned with His plans and purposes.
Being convinced of this we try to be a business that always pleases the Lord. The first step in this process was acknowledging that Jesus is the head of our company. We look to Him for our guidance, strength and success. We strive to model His priorities daily as we serve our customers and interact with our suppliers, staff and the community. Sometimes we do not live up to this high calling. In these instances we ask for forgiveness as we try to quickly rectify our failings.
Knowing Jesus is wonderful. His story is contained in the Holy Bible. I encourage you to read the gospels and consider His claims for yourself.
Thank you for trusting us with your business. We enjoy serving you.
Very truly yours,
Robert Melloni
